I believe my main trouble was capturing DOF. Movement i believe I captured fairly well. I also believe I need to learn more on image editing so i can improve my images further next time
Nathan, you said it yourself, and I'm glad you recognize it: the DOF images here just aren't working as well as your motion shots. In all of them, the focus is pretty well even throughout the image. Open up your aperture and then get very close to your subject and adjust the focus to try to get the subject in focus and the background blurry. You can do it. The motion images are working nicely, though your fountain could use some straightening.
I like the fountain shot and volleyball shot for motion, but I think your last DOF image is the best. You can see where the front of the couch is a little blurred there. Good job
I think you're self-aware of what you need to work on and that's cool. Dof doesn't seem to be very strong here, but you have some great motion shots
